Just purchased my ticket to Chicago, it’s official! Too bad I’ve never been this broke in my life before…. Hopefully my 14 hour work day makes up for it! Can’t believe I pulled a double and I’m still awake.
Had a really amazing weekend!! My favorite boy came all the way to Vegas to visit me. Goyemon AYCE sushi for our 19 month date, going to the gym, grocery shopping, cooking chicken pesto for dinner, swimsuit shopping, tanning, swimming, hot tubbing, movie dates, Five Guys, peanut butter tasting peanuts, food network, random 5am cravings.. I miss it all already! He makes me so happy ^_^
8 1/2 hours at work and a 2 mile run after!!! Excited to pick up mah boyfriend tonight ^_^
The day started off in a bit of a shock to me but things got better as the day went on. Had a full shift at work today and got my secret shopper report back - I got 100%! WHOOT WHOOT, $25 dollllllas fo me oh and I got to catch up with my line sissy, Maria, at work. Went home and worked out, made some dinner, and now I’m doing some laundry and cleaning. I’m excited for tomorrow!!!! My baby’s coming to visit again, first time since winter break (:
I wish I didn’t work sometimes so I could go home whenever I wanted to, hope you’re doing well papa!!!
I’m back in Vegas now! Had a pretty good trip home since I was able to sleep most of the way. Thanks for picking me up Big Brho! I had to go in to work the same day too which kinda sucked, but today I have my day off! And the internet is working in the apartment today which made me happy. My plan for the day is to do some healthy grocery shopping and hit up the gym! Oh, and my manager let me request off the weekend for conference so I guess I’ll be going to Chicago in three weeks!
A little update on my summer - I had my spring formals and I’m in California now!
Took some time off of work this weekend to make it to my boyfriend’s formals, pretty interesting night! Finally got to give him his letters, had a yummy dinner, and dance dance danced. We also went on our long overdue shopping trip today. He decided to spoil me and bought me the Nike TR 2’s I wanted and some cute clothes and went a little watch shopping. I spent the rest of the day at my aunt’s house with my family and tomorrow I finally get to hang out with my sister on her day off!
Looks like I’m staying in California ‘til Wednesday because I forgot my apartment key. Oh well, I get another day to spend with all my loves!!
Only got a couple hours of sleep in before work after going to my Grand’s party last night, went to work early this morning, shopped around at Fashion Show with third wheel, alexa, and my bigs after I got off, met up with my twinny and had some tropical smoothie, went back to the apartment and chilled at the pool/hot tub, then ran errands and cleaned the apartment til 4am. I’ve pretty much compacted all of my things into a fourth of what it was when I first moved in, LOL.
Officially done with my first year of college!!!! I think my first year went a lot better than I expected, especially since UNLV was my second choice for school. But now thinking about it, I’m glad I went to UNLV instead because I realized how easy it would be for me to go home and how much cheaper it was than my first choice. I think I had a fun first year living on my own for the first time, keeping a good GPA, pledging for a sorority that has definitely shown me how much I could accomplish, getting my very first job, being able to maintain a long distance relationship, and meeting some amazing friends that created a home away from home for me.

- Melissa: Hey is the teacher wearing greek letters?
- Me: Where?
- Melissa: Over there, it says ATP. I wonder what sorority she's in.
- *I look over*
- Me: IT'S ATP MELISSA..
- Melissa: So? What does that mean?
- Me: ATP....
- Melissa: I don't get it.
- Me: You're going to fail your test.
- Three more days of classes for the semster
- Finals week next week
- SUMMER IN 9 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
